Microphone and Speaker Data (Tuner and Ear Training) 2Jam requires access to your device’s microphone to provide its core functionalities, such as the instrument tuner and interactive ear training exercises. The audio data captured by the microphone is processed strictly in real-time on your device to detect pitch and frequency. Additionally, the app uses your device’s speakers to play reference tones, exercises, and metronome beats. We do not record, store, transmit, or share any audio data, voice recordings, or sounds captured by your microphone or played through your speakers to any external servers.
User Progress and Local Data To enhance your learning experience, 2Jam stores certain data locally on your device, such as your daily streaks, ear training progress, and fretboard training statistics. This information is kept entirely on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
In-App Purchases 2Jam offers premium features and subscriptions through in-app purchases. All payment transactions are securely processed and handled directly by Apple’s App Store via StoreKit. We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card details or billing information.
Third-Party Services and Advertising The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you for advertising purposes. We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address, and usage data to provide personalized and non-personalized ads.
For users on iOS 14.5 and later, we will ask for your permission to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites to deliver personalized advertisements via Google AdMob. If you decline this permission, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to your interests. You can manage these permissions at any time in your device’s Settings.
Depending on your location (such as under GDPR, CCPA, or KVKK), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, update, or delete the data we have on you. Since 2Jam stores your progress (such as streaks and training data) locally on your device, you have full control over this data. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app’s data in your device settings.
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers.
